If you are looking to book a short vacation to Walt Disney World this year, you now have to stay at least two nights at a Disney Resort hotel, despite the “length of stay requirements” stating the minimum stay is one night.

When looking at the Walt Disney World website, we noticed that from October 14 through December 5, 2021, Guests cannot book a single-night stay at any Disney Resort hotel. We are unsure of why this restriction is in place at this time, but we can confirm that Guests can still book a minimum of two-night stays at available hotels.

For example, as seen in the screenshot below, when trying to book a one-night stay at a Disney World Resort hotel, the website shows absolutely no availability.

But once you change the dates to include a minimum of two nights, plenty of availability shows up, as seen in the screenshot below.

This new restriction seems to be in place for all dates from October 14 through December 4. We tried to book a one-night Disney Resort stay from December 5-6, 2021, and the Disney World website showed a handful of Resort hotels available, which you can see in the screenshot below.

Again, this restriction is only for single-night stays from October 14 through December 4. If Guests are still looking to book a short trip to Walt Disney World, they are still able to book a minimum of two nights.
