Magic Kingdom Debuts Special NEW Cavalcade In Honor of 50th Anniversary!

Walt Disney World is officially celebrating the 50th anniversary with “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” kicking off this morning at all four theme parks. From special decor to new experiences, the Parks at Disney World are now filled with even more magic — just for the 50th anniversary!

One of the many unique experiences that debuted today is a brand-new cavalcade at Magic Kingdom! The new “Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade” features Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of their pals as they ride down Main Street, U.S.A. and we got the chance to see them!

The new “Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade” includes the Disney World 50th anthem, titled “The Magic Is Calling”, which will also be used during the Beacons of Magic, in performances by the Dapper Dans, and more.

So if you are planning a visit to Magic Kingdom during the 50th anniversary, make sure to keep an eye out for the new Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale will all be in their EARidescent outfits, waving to Guests from the floats!

But if you happen to miss the cavalcade, don’t worry because Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will appear sporadically in all four theme parks as they are your hosts for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”! Mickey, Minnie, and their friends are decked out in sparkling new EARidescent fashions just for the 50th anniversary celebrations — so keep those eyes peeled and be sure to wave if you spot them.
