Credit: DisneyThere are a lot of things that make your Walt Disney World vacation truly memorable — maybe you love the fireworks, or you had one of the best meals of your life at the theme parks — and each person has one thing they love more than others. However, there is one more aspect that you may not think about as much, and that is the Cast Members who help bring the magic every day.
Disney would not be Disney without the thousands of Cast Members who show up every day with the goal of making your vacation as great as they can. And there may be Cast Members who just go above and beyond to help a Guest. When a Cast Member provides a Guest with an out-of-this-world experience, Disney wants to know. They encourage Guests to email them or head to City Hall to give a Cast Member Compliment.
Now, Walt Disney World Resort is making giving a Cast Member compliment easier than ever! A special section has been added to the My Disney Experience app that will let you leave a compliment right from your phone.
Once you click on the “Share Your Compliment”, Guests will be asked to fill in some more information about the great interaction they had with a Cast Member. You can fill out where the interaction happened and what the Cast Member helped you with.
Currently, the Cast Member compliment section of the My Disney Experience app does not allow you to type in any information about your interaction with the Cast Member, so you can’t share specifics about your experience or the name of the Cast Member who helped make your day magical. Perhaps this section of the app will be updated in the future, and if so we’ll share more information when it becomes available.
If you would like to give a more detailed story to go along with your compliment to a Disney Cast Member, we recommend for you to head to Guest Relations in whichever theme park you are in, or you can email Disney Guest Relations after returning home from your trip.
