Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) has just revealed that during one of her tours, she had to change up the lyrics to one of her songs, per Disney’s request.
The former Disney Channel actress posted a video earlier this week to TikTok that showed her side by side with a fan singing her hit song, “He Said She Said”. Within the video, the fan shared that she just realized at 30 years of age that “He Said She Said” is about more than just talking.
Shortly after the realization, Tisdale then shared some “juicy” information, stating that Disney actually “made” her change the lyrics of the song while she was on the High School Musical: The Concert tour in late 2006.
In case you are not aware, the original lyrics to the chorus are as follows, “Baby, I can see us movin’ like that/Baby, I can see us touchin’ like that/Baby, I can see us kissin’ like that/We don’t need no more than he said, she said.”
Tisdale had to change the lyric “Baby, I can see us kissin’ like that” to “Baby, I can see us dancin’ like that”.
Ashley Tisdale is most known in the Disney universe for her role as Sharpay Evans in Disney Channel’s popular High School Musical franchise, alongside Zac Efron (Troy Bolton), Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella Montez), Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth), Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie), and Lucas Grabiel (Ryan Evans).
Tisdale also starred in the Disney Channel television series, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Maddie Fitzpatrick alongside Cole and Dylan Sprouse (Cody and Zack Martin), Brenda Song (London Tipton), and Phil Lewis (Marion Mosbey).
