For many big Disney fans, the ultimate dream is to get married at one of the many incredible locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Grand Floridian has several locations, including what may be the most recognizable of all Disney wedding spots — the Grand Floridian Wedding Pavilion. However, the Grand Floridian is not the only place you can get married at the Resort.

Guests planning a Walt Disney World wedding can select from a number of beautiful locations, including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, and even the Canada pavilion at EPCOT, and other great theme park locations. Disney has a number of different plans for couples planning their nuptials, which can fit into almost everyone’s budget.

There is a lot that goes into planning any wedding, even one at The Most Magical Place on Earth. And things may have gotten even more complicated with the COVID-19 pandemic changing the way we live our daily lives. Disney wants to keep Guests visiting their Resorts as safe as possible as they celebrate the happiest day of their life, so they have added a non-negotiable component to all wedding parties.

According to the health and safety requirements for Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons:

You and your guests (including any third party vendors you hire to provide services at the Walt Disney World® Resort for your wedding) will be required to sign a waiver prior to your wedding. Your Disney Weddings team will provide you with further information regarding this process. Guests that do nit sign a waiver will not be allowed to attend your wedding events (or any portion thereof, including any on-site planning activities).

It should be noted that Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort every day are also agreeing to a waiver from Disney, they just do not have to sign any physical piece of paper. The Walt Disney World website states that Guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort recognize that they are putting themselves at risk of exposure to COVID-19 and will not blame Disney if they get sick.
