When Walt Disney World reopened some of its dining experiences, modifications were put in place in order to keep both Guests and Cast Members safe. One example of this was restaurants replacing several buffets to offer family-style dining instead.

Now, another buffet-style restaurant is reopening at Walt Disney World — Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — and it looks as though it will keep its buffet-style and not replace it with family-style, meaning this will be the very first buffet to be offered at Walt Disney World since the ongoing pandemic.

Though Disney Parks, did not confirm which dining style Boma would operate with, reporter Scott Gustin Tweeted that Boma – Flavors of Africa will be the first buffet to reopen at Disney World!

The Walt Disney World website describes this restaurant as:

Under thatched roofs, savor vibrant flavors from over 50 African countries—along with favorite American classics.
