Walt Disney World Resort, The Most Magical Place on Earth, is hosting The World’s Most Magical celebration beginning October 1, 2021, to commemorate 50 magical years of the Florida Disney Resort. Walt Disney World first opened in 1971, and there are still Cast Members working at Disney World today who have been there since the very beginning.
This year, Disney has been taking to social media to showcase the numerous Cast Members who have worked at Walt Disney World Resort for 50 years since 1971. And today, they did something extra special. The 50-year Cast Members were treated to a special event — a breakfast at Magic Kingdom before the Park officially opened for the day!
Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle took to Instagram to share his excitement about hosting the 50-year Cast Members for this breakfast event.
The Disney World President said:
This morning was a real treat, getting to join our 50-year Cast Members for breakfast before the Magic Kingdom opened. Seeing the friendships forged over decades and hearing their stories … It’s a memory I’ll always treasure. 10 days to the 50th!
