Disney fans will be welcomed into Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebrations in just a few short days, which Guests are excitedly anticipating.
The Most Magical Celebration on earth will bring many offerings to Disney World as Cinderella Castle, Fantasyland, and Main Street, U.S.A., at Magic Kingdom, have undergone massive transformations. EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth will debut the Beacons of Light which will change the entrance and exit of the Park forever. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will leave Tower of Terror looking better than ever, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will project onto the Tree of Life. On top of all this, we will see new attractions such as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the Fab 50 golden statues all over the Parks.
One exciting thing that Guests cannot wait to see is the two new nighttime spectaculars. Guests have been looking forward to Harmonious at EPCOT for a long time, and soon they will finally see it come to life! Of course, this means we must say goodbye to EPCOT Forever, but this is something we have been aware of for quite some time as the show was a placeholder between Illuminations and Harmonious.
At Magic Kingdom, we more recently learned of Disney Enchantment taking over. Many assumed that after the 18-month celebration, we would see Happily Ever After return, but then we discovered that Happily Ever After would have its final show on September 29. Since many Guests love the show, the news has been a tough pill to swallow.
That being said, the Disney Enchantment music sounds rather beautiful! Disney Parks (@disneyparks) took to TikTok to show the orchestra rehearsals for the show, and I personally cannot help but get some Happily Ever After vibes from the arrangement, which will surely be just as tear-inducing as its predecessor. Take a listen and see for yourself!
