Construction has appeared at Universal CityWalk once again! But what is it for this time?

During a recent visit to the Universal Orlando Resort we noticed that construction walls are covering the Quiet Flight Surf Shop that is next to the movie theater in CityWalk. Signage indicates that the store is open during construction, and there is easy access to the store at the entrance closest to the movie theater.

Here are a few pictures of what the blue construction walls look like:

The construction extends down to the Cinnabon. It is unclear at this time if Quiet Flight will be staying at CityWalk, or if the store will be replaced by something else. It appears that it could simply be a refurbishment of the outside area since the store has remained open during construction.
There has been plenty of new stores coming to CityWalk at the Universal Orlando Resort recently. Universal replaced a few retail locations with one giant Universal Store in CityWalk which you can read more about here.

We have also recently reported about one new restaurant that was added to Universal CityWalk. This new grab-and-go location is located on the second level of CityWalk above the movie theater. Called, Bend the Bao, this new restaurant serves up delicious bao that is the perfect meal or snack during your vacation. The flavors are interesting and I highly recommended a visit to Bend the Bao!

We will have to wait and see what Universal has in store for Quiet Flight. Personally, I enjoy the surf shop so I am hoping that the storefront reopens with a fresh new look. You can check out the official Universal website here for the hours of operation for Quiet Flight.
