Universal Orlando Resort is filled with many fun things to do, but it is their Team Members that provide very immersive and unique experiences for Guests that will stick with them long after they leave the Park.

Lately, we have noticed that a lot of Universal Team Members have gone out of their way to crack a joke or make the Guest experience more immersive. Even while giving tips about when to visit Olivanders at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Team Members always ensure that they are playing the part and giving everything they say backstory and context, truly transporting the Guest.

We have experienced a few fun Team Member interactions at the security checkpoint that leads Guests into CityWalk, and those moments seem never to stop. When leaving the parking garage, all Guests will go through security, where they will walk through a metal detector while their bags, phones, and belongings. One thing that Guests do not need to put through the personal items metal detector is their water bottle (unless it is metal, of course).

While going through security, I forgot that I could hold my water and the Team Member asked me if I was donating my water to Universal. I laughed, realizing I put it through the metal detector, and as I reached back for the bottle, he alerted me to stop. He told me that Universal’s Jurassic Park River Adventure is low on water. Since I “generously” gave security my water, they will be using that water to splash other Guests riding the attraction.

The Team Member kept a straight face the entire time, and at the end, shot me a smile and handed me my water bottle back. A small interaction like this had me excited to enter the theme parks and also made me want to hope on Jurassic Park River Adventure, and then head to Jurassic World VelociCoaster to dry off!

It would be awesome to continue to have these unique interactions with Team Members, as they can truly elevate the Guests experience in a matter of seconds!
