When Guests visit Disney World, it is always good to know if any attractions will be closed during their visit before their arrival.
Of course, attractions may unexpectedly temporarily close throughout the day. Still, if you want to know the specific hours of operation of a Disney World attraction, you can search for that attraction on the Disney World website and select the date you plan to experience it.
Typically, hours of operation do not differ from day to day; however, they can at times. Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor just reopened ahead of schedule today at Magic Kingdom, and from the looks of it, it will have a 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. operational schedule. This means that the attraction will not open or close with the rest of the Park.
When looking at the hours of operation towards the end of August, we did notice that on August 31, the reduced hours of 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. are going to be even more reduced. The calendar shows that the show will only run from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that day, which is a good thing for Guests visiting Magic Kingdom on August 31 to note.
Since the show will be recently reopened and is not a constantly moving attraction like The Haunted Mansion, or PeopleMover, Guests who are looking to experience the show should arrive closer to the attraction’s opening since it will only be available for four and a half hours that day. This will ensure that you can experience it prior to its final performance for the day.
Luckily, the operational hours return to normal on September 1, so this reduced schedule will not be a major issue for Guests visiting Magic Kingdom in the near future. Disney has not mentioned why the attraction will be opening late on August 31 at this time.
