Have you ever dreamed about living in Golden Oak? The only residential community on Walt Disney World property? Well, YouTuber Angie Bellemare had that same dream with her husband for the past 10 years, and they finally were able to accomplish their goal with a stunning custom-built house full of fun Disney touches!
Angie Bellemare is from Canada and runs a wellness YouTube channel, but she is also a huge Disney fan. Recently she and her husband finally had enough money saved up to develop their dream Golden Oak home. Although unfurnished in the video, Angie gave her YouTuber subscribers a full house tour of her completed home, and if you are a Disney fan, it will leave you drooling pixie dust.
We will discuss all of the fun Disney features in the house, but I highly recommend watching the entire house tour for yourself after reading this article to get a full look at the home. Below, you can find the full tour.
The house is full of little fun Disney touches that truly add to the spectacular detail that the home already encompasses.
Mickey Mouse topiary fountain
One of my personal favorite additions to Angie’s home is this adorable Mickey Mouse topiary that doubles as a fountain in her pool. It looks like something you would find at a Disney Resort and would be a total conversation piece for any Guest visiting her home.
Disney Smellitizer
When Guests visit Disney World, they may sometimes feel like there is a particular smell that is all around them. Whether it be popcorn smells or a waffle cone scent, or a specific water smell on Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney has smellitizers that emit scents for Guests all around the Park.
Angie has that exact same machine and had a hidden Mickey insert designed in her home where she can place it, so her house will literally smell like Disney World.
Hidden Mickeys
Angie has hidden Mickeys that the builders placed throughout her home, and they give the house a simple touch of Disney without going too overboard. Can you find the hidden Mickey in the photo below?
This one is a lot more obvious but adds an adorable touch of Mickey to the home.
Firework View
Angie’s home has three floors, and on the top landing, she can see the fireworks from both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT!
She also mentioned that she works with a builder to make that firework view landing into a Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse!
Golden Oak homes sell for millions of dollars, so if you are set on living in this community one day, be sure to start saving now!
