Did you know you can live at Walt Disney World? Golden Oak is a luxurious neighborhood tucked away in the heart of Walt Disney World. Recently a member of the Bacardi Rum family spent more than $3 million to purchase a picturesque home in Golden Oak.
According to a report from the Orlando Business Journal Hilda Maria Bacardi purchased a home inside Golden Oak for $3.2 million. Hilda is a direct descendant of the founder of Bacardi. There is currently no word on if this is a vacation home or a full-time residence.
OBJ went on to say that despite the pandemic demand is high for homes inside of Golden Oak:
…the luxury home sector is a bright spot in Central Florida, as the region’s warm weather and relatively low home prices draw affluent buyers from across the country to ritzy communities like Golden Oak and Windermere’s Isleworth Golf & Country Club….

In addition to home’s features, living in Golden Oak gives a resident access to its many amenities. Those include a private clubhouse, pool and fitness center. Of course, Golden Oak also provides easy access to Walt Disney World Resort’s four theme parks and two water parks, with Epcot less than four miles from the neighborhood.
“Nobody can come close to the amenities Disney provides,” Tony Davids, a Realtor at Celebration-based Tony Davids Homes LLC, previously told OBJ.
