1Port Canaveral has taken to social media to celebrate the return of Disney Cruise Line’s ships to the port. Disney Cruise Line is gearing up to set sail from the Florida port again this August.
There have been plenty of ups and downs this year surrounding the cruise line industry in general, but things are looking up and Disney Cruise Line is ready to make a big comeback in 2021.

Disney Cruise Line will return with Bahamian sailings out of Port Canaveral on August 9. There have also been and will continue to be test sailings out of Port Canaveral as Disney Cruise Line prepares its ships for sailings with Guests once again.
Port Canaveral shared a photo on their official Instagram of the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy which are both currently in port. This is a rare and happy sight for all Disney Cruise Line fans:
Two for Tuesday! Disney Cruise Line’s Dream and Fantasy at Port Canaveral today. Disney’s Dream is gearing up for her return to cruising next month while Disney’s Fantasy will be announcing her return date very soon!
Ahead of the cruises coming back, Disney has made a few significant announcements pertaining to the updated health and safety policies that will be implemented onboard.
Proof of vaccination will not be required for those passengers who are sailing out of any Florida ports. This is alongside many other updates which you can read more about here.
Disney has also announced that the Bahamian cruises will feature two stops to Castaway Cay! This makes these cruises extremely unique as typically cruises that have two Castaway Cay stops are rare and only seen on longer cruises, not three or four-night sailings. Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island that is featured as a stop on many of its sailings.
