Walt Disney World can be extremely packed during the summer months, and it shows when visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Home to Galaxy’s Edge and famous attractions such as Tower of Terror and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, many first-timers and Disney diehard fans who visit the Park, don’t mind waiting in long lines in Orlando’s extreme heat.
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World this summer and plan on tackling Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we have some good news for you. According to the official Walt Disney World website, now Guests can enjoy more time at this beloved Disney theme Park as Disney has extended Park hours well into the evening for the month of August!

Previously in the summer months, Disney’s Hollywood Studios was set to close at 7:00 p.m. Now, Guests can stay as late as 9:00 p.m. from August 1 to the 28. Take advantage of sipping galactic cocktails in Oga’s Cantina located inside Galaxy’s Edge as theme Park hours will change to 8:00 p.m. on August 29 to September 25.
As we have mentioned before, Walt Disney World is happy to welcome more visitors for the summer by adding more park passes! Now that Disney has relaxed many pandemic-era restrictions, we can anticipate that hours will change to accommodate more Guests to Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Not going to visit during high peak months? Recently, we announced that Guests who plan on visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth can now plan well into September, as Theme Park hours have been released.
