Walt Disney World Resort often celebrates the holidays with a bang, and today, they celebrate Halfway to the Holidays!
Although Halloween comes first, Christmas will be right around the corner after that, and Disney wants to make sure they are ready for it. Today, the theme park has officially announced the holiday celebrations, which, this year, will take place during The World’s Most Magical Celebration, marking the Resort’s 50th anniversary.
Magic Kingdom will offer a new After Hours event called Disney Very Merriest After Hours, which will feature plenty of characters, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, music, decor, and more! Disney’s Hollywood Studios will light up Sunset Boulevard. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have plenty of character opportunities as the Tree of Life shines with holiday cheer. And EPCOT will celebrate the Festival of the Holidays!
Of course, there is also Disney Springs, which is often a very popular spot to visit during Christmas. Disney has shared what we can expect to see at Disney Springs, including the Guest-favorite Christmas Trees and snowfall!
The shopping, dining and entertainment destination will transform into a winter wonderland, full of sparkling lights, enchanting décor and holiday surprises. This year sees the return of the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, with elaborately decorated, Disney-themed trees – some new and some inspired by “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
A magical snowfall will add a touch of wonder for holiday shoppers in Town Center.
Here, you can find the perfect gift for everyone on your list, including yourself. Discover holiday ornaments, matching family pajamas, festive Spirit Jerseys, and more – be sure to check your list twice so you don’t forget any holiday must-haves! There will even be themed food and beverages; one of my favorite spots, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, will once again transform into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, with delightful décor and a delicious limited-time menu filled with festive favorites.
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is always a highlight for me, so it is great to see that that offering is returning! I also would highly recommend that anyone in the area checks out the Christmas decor at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, as it is fantastic!
