Credit: DisneyHalloween is an incredibly popular time at Disney theme parks. Disney World is replacing Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party with a special Disney After Hours Boo Bash event. Disneyland in turn announced that they would be bringing back its Halloween Screams fireworks show and its incredibly popular Oogie Boogie Bash — which will take place at Disney California Adventure Park on select dates beginning on September 9.
Tickets for Disneyland Resort’s Halloween party, Oogie Boogie Bash, went on sale this morning and fans quickly descended upon the Disneyland website. The high number of people who wanted to buy tickets resulted in hours-long wait times and the site crashing. Multiple people, including some of our own Inside the Magic reporters, had charges pending on their bank accounts for tickets that were never purchased. The Disneyland website even issued a statement thanking Guests for their patience as they dealt with the high demand and issues the site was having.
However, it looks like things have finally calmed down on the Disneyland website. Despite the long wait times this morning, at the time of this article’s publication, all dates are still available for Oogie Boogie Bash. Inside the Magic recently went on the Disneyland website and the Oogie Boogie Bash virtual queue wait time was just under 10 minutes. From there, we were allowed to select any date we wanted for the party, as all dates were still available. At this time, purchasing tickets is much easier!

While all dates are currently available for this popular event, they may not stay that way for long, so make sure to get your tickets soon! Oogie Boogie Bash will take place on select dates beginning September 9 through October 31. Oogie Boogie Bash party hours will be 6 p.m. until 11 p.m., but those with party tickets may enter Disney California Adventure Park beginning as early as 3 p.m.!
