When Guests visit Disney World, there is always the chance that they will want to ride an attraction, only to find out it is closed.

Of course, some rides do undergo refurbishment. Still, at times, attractions that are not set to close must do so temporarily due to a maintenance issue that must be corrected to ensure that the ride can continue to ride safely for all Guests.

When a closure such as this happens, typically, the attraction will be operational again at some point that day. However, there are instances when attractions can temporarily close, and that closure will last much longer than just a few minutes.

Today, it seems two attractions have experienced closures at Magic Kingdom! Two Fantasyland attractions, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Mad Tea Party, have both closed temporarily, as you can see from the below screenshot from the My Disney Experience app.

On the app, we can also see that Muppet*Vision 3D is also currently closed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

When a closure such as this happens, Guests should keep an eye out of the My Disney Experience app to see when the ride is back up and running. Once a wait time is again added to the attraction, it is fully functioning for Guests to ride!

Disney describes The Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh as:

A Storybook Come to Life
Be swept away by a gust of wind with Gopher, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo before sliding inside Owl’s House. Bob up and down with Tigger during a hide-and-seek adventure. Enter a dream world where singing Heffalumps and Woozles spring up and down.

It’s a delightful romp through scenes and songs scenes made famous in the classic Disney film Winnie the Pooh.

Before saying goodbye to your new friends, celebrate with Pooh as he finally gets his paws on what he’s been searching for.

Before Your Adventure
Explore Rabbit’s Garden, paint with honey and visit Eeyore’s home.

A few steps away from the attraction is Mad Tea Party, which is described as:

A Very Merry UnBirthday
Pour yourself into an oversized pastel teacup and twirl through a wild wonderland of color and song. As the party gets underway, sail back and forth around a towering teapot as festive music fills the air.

A Taste of Classic Disney Magic
Mad Tea Party is inspired by the Mad Hatter’s party sequence in Walt Disney’s animated classic Alice in Wonderland and modeled after the iconic 1955 Disneyland Park attraction.

Control Your Spin
For a wild ride, turn the wheel fast and hold on. Dizziness not your cup of tea? Turn slowly, or not at all, and enjoy a gentle turn around the table.

Have you ever had a ride at Disney World temporarily close just as you were getting ready to hop in the queue?
