When Guests enter EPCOT, they are likely either ready to eat and drink their way around the World Showcase, or they rush to an attraction.
Considering EPCOT is the Disney Park with the least attractions, lines can, at times, end up with quite the wait. Because of this, rushing to an attraction at rope drop can be very beneficial and save Guests time while waiting in line.
When EPCOT opened up today, however, two of the major attractions were not yet running! Both Spaceship Earth and Test Track underwent a temporary closure when EPCOT opened. When a rider experiences a temporary closure, they are often back up and running that day; however, that is not always the case.
As you can see below on the My Disney Experience app, both attractions are listed as temporarily closed. Because of the closure, it seems that Mission: SPACE, another EPCOT attraction in Future World, received the brunt of the Guests as its wait time skyrocketed to 90 minutes, which is quite long for the attraction.
The WDW Stats (@WDWStats) Twitter account showed that as of 11:02 a.m. and 11:03 a.m., the rides were already shut down.
Spaceship Earth has been temporarily interrupted. On average, an interruption takes 27 minutes.

Both attractions have experienced temporary closures in the past, so to see both attractions not yet operating is not too surprising. That being said, Guests should continue to keep their eye on their My Disney Experience app if they are looking to ride either attraction today. Once the rides are running again, they will have a wait time listed in the app, confirming that Guests can now get in line!
