Since Disney World reopened its door after a few months of closure caused by the pandemic, they have yet to bring back their iconic nighttime fireworks displays.
Today, however, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced that they will debut brand-new fireworks. That means Busch Gardens is the first Central Florida theme park to bring back a full fireworks show!

Here is what Busch Gardens has to say about its new nighttime spectacular, Spark!
Summer Nights just got brighter! Due to popular demand, the park’s NEW nighttime spectacular, “Spark!” can now be enjoyed every night starting Friday, June 11 through Sunday, August 8. As the biggest and brightest show ever to light the park’s sky, “Spark!” features an explosive array of fireworks and exciting effects from dazzling lasers to graceful water elements and dramatic pyrotechnics. After August 8, “Spark!” will continue to light up the sky every Friday – Sunday through September 6, including Labor Day.
Spark! sounds like an exciting new show, and we cannot wait to see it.

But when will fireworks return to Disney World? While Disney has not made any official announcements, there has been plenty of fireworks testing happening recently.
EPCOT is gearing up to debut a new nighttime show of its own. HamronioUS has no official opening date as of yet, however, there has been fireworks testing for the nighttime spectacular happening most nights at EPCOT for the past week.

Disney also has not announced that there will be any fireworks at Disney After Hours Boo Bash, the Halloween event running on select nights from August through October. While Disney fans will need to continue waiting for fireworks to make an appearance at Walt Disney World once again, it is a short hour’s drive to Busch Gardens to enjoy Spark! this summer.
