Guests are looking forward to a new after-hours event coming to Magic Kingdom called Disney After Hours Boo Bash. It will replace Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for this Halloween season due to the ongoing pandemic.

Though there won’t be Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade or Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Halloween Fireworks, Guests will still experience party music, decorations, and character cavalcades to celebrate Halloween during the special three-hour event.

Tickets for the Disney After Hours event went on sale this morning for those Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels, however, it seems as though fans are extremely frustrated as they are having issues getting through to a Cast Member to purchase tickets.

Tickets for Disney After Hours Boo Bash cannot be purchased online and can only be secured by calling Walt Disney World Guest Services. Fans began trying to call at 7 a.m. when the tickets went on sale, however, after two hours, many have taken to Twitter to share their frustrations.

The phone lines are extremely busy as everyone is trying to purchase Boo Bash tickets, but due to the overload, fans cannot get through to a Cast Member and, therefore, cannot buy a ticket.

Johnny (@MJPWGaming) shared:

I’ve been trying to book Boo Bash tickets for Disney World all morning. This will be my first time going to Disney so I have no clue if trying to call a number 500+ times is the usual to securing event tickets but this is ridiculous.

And Disney fan Corey (@Faramir82) Tweeted:

Can’t get through to book Boo Bash tickets, @WDWGuestService what’s going on?

Kathy (@WRALeighWood) posted a GIF explaining that trying to purchase Boo Bash tickets is a nightmare:

boo bash tickets but no luck! Calls won’t even go through! Wish they let you purchase online

And Tina (@t2coolt) shared her frustrations by saying:

Hey @WaltDisneyWorld why give advance boo bash tickets to guests with reservations when we can’t actually get through to purchase. This is beyond frustrating.

Another Disney fan, Joe (@joe_doyle) said he has been on the phone for two hours trying to get through to a Disney Cast Member:

We’ve hit the hour 2 mark on-hold. C’mon @WaltDisneyWorld I just wanna buy Boo Bash tickets.

Guy (@GuySkott) took a more comical approach as he shared a GIF of Buzz Lightyear along with the caption:

Captains log…. Stargate 062821… I continue to try and contact the house of mouse. After 2 hours and 1000 calls still no signs of life. I shall continue in my attempt to secure the rare #boobash tickets #WaltDisneyWorld

Spruce (@SpruceLee) has been on the phone since 7 a.m. trying to get through to purchase tickets and is extremely frustrated:

@WDWGuestService have been trying since 7am to call and get Boo Bash tickets. No luck getting through. Dont understand why this couldn’t have been accomplished online. Why do you not have enough lines/staff to meet demand? Dont blame Covid- you have had a year to figure this out
