Summer is just around the corner and Walt Disney World is the hot spot for spending summer vacations. If you have ever experienced the Orlando heat then you know you would rather be chilling in a nice pool or experiencing thrilling water rides on those intensely hot days instead of sweating in a Disney theme park.
Well, did you know that Disney is also home to two water parks? If you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World soon, you may want to add Disney’s Blizzard Beach to your itinerary as Disney releases water park ticket discounts.
Plan a water park visit soon
As we mentioned before, Walt Disney World has two very popular water parks that are extremely popular in Orlando, Florida. Currently, the 56 acre Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is still closed due to the ongoing pandemic but Disney World has reopened Disney’s Blizzard Beach to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Check the official website for times as the hours frequently change).
Right now, Disney is offering a deal of a lifetime to enjoy a plummet down Mount Gushmore! Guests who are Disney Annual Passholders are currently invited to cool off in Blizzard Beach as specialty ticket prices have lowered to just $49 plus tax!
Be sure to sign in and check your email Annual Passholders for this special $20 savings before it’s gone! According to the Disney World website, ticket prices for Disney’s Blizzard Beach for Guests are $69 for adults and $63 for ages 3 to 9.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
Enjoy a winter wonderland inside Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park located in Walt Disney World Resort. Next to the one-acre Melt Away Bay Pool are 12 family-friendly and thrilling attractions including a ski chairlift that leads you to the tallest and fastest water slide around.
Summit Plummet is not for the faint of heart. The Disney website describes Summit Plummet as:
One Fearsome Freefall
Plunge 12 stories almost straight down, rocketing through a darkened tunnel and into a massive spray of whitewater after a 360-foot-long, high-speed descent.
Hardcore thrill-seekers won’t want to miss this slide so steep, you can’t see where you’re going—until you’re there!
Do you dare experience the most extreme attraction at Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park?
Guests who are not Annual Passholders and wish to become one soon may have to wait. As of now, The Walt Disney World Resort is not selling Passholder tickets but is allowing past Annual Passholders to use their perks this year. Keep in touch with Inside the Magic for more information on when Annual Passes will return to purchase.
