Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a popular dinner show located at Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, Pioneer Hall has not been able to host Guests for a rootin’ tootin’ time. In fact, last fall the cast of Hoop-Dee-Doo, were, unfortunately, laid off.
But as we continue to move forward amidst the ongoing pandemic, and as Disney continues opening up more locations and modifying the protocols put into place as part of their phased reopening, are they also gearing up to bring back this popular dinner show to Guests?
It wasn’t long ago we reported that Disney may have recalled some of the cast of the Hoop-Dee-Doo as they may be getting ready to reopen the dinner show to Guests. Now, another sign is pointing to this as a possibility as Walt Disney World has filed a permit for construction at Pioneer Hall.
Though the permit does not give a lot of detail, we do know that it is for the address of Pioneer Hall and is to provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction. This could have been filed in order for Disney to gear up to reopen the building for Hoop-Dee-Doo. For example, Disney will more than likely have to do some basic construction to ensure the building is safe considering it has been closed for over a year before welcoming Guests back inside.
Additionally, Disney may have to put some social distancing markers down, possible plexiglass in certain locations, as well as other safety protocols in order to open the dining location as safely as possible. However, this is pure speculation and Disney has not confirmed if they will be reopening Pioneer Hall and hosting Hoop-Dee-Doo in the near future.
Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information surrounding this popular dinner show at Fort Wilderness Resort.
