Ulu Café is a popular dining location at Aulani and is located on the first floor of Aulani Resort, next to the Wailana swimming pool. It offers Guests a variety of delicious dining options and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Ulu Café offers Guests everything from breakfast pizzas to Acai bowls to fresh poke bowls — and now, Dole Whips!
For those who have not ever had a Dole Whip, it is a deliciously cold, refreshing pineapple soft-serve ice cream that is perfect for a hot day in Hawaii — or anywhere, really. The Dole Whip is one of the most popular desserts found throughout both the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland in California.
The Dole Whips that are now available at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is special because Dole is actually located in Hawaii!
The Dole Pineapple Plantation is located on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, meaning the pineapple being used for Aulani’s Dole Whip soft serve could not be fresher!
Aulani closed back in March 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19 and was the last Disney property to shut its doors. It began a phased reopening in November 2020 and is continuing to bring back Guest favorites.
Most recently, character dining returned to Makahiki. Character dining resumed on May 7, after being unavailable since the hotel reopened.
