Disney World is getting a new next-door neighbor in just a few days, and it is another castle, except this one is white and serves sliders!
Florida is getting its first White Castle after 50 years of not having the delicious burger joint, and the dining location is making quite the splash in Orlando. Opening in the new O-town complex next to Portillos, this White Castle will be the largest in the world, with a massive outdoor eating space for Guests to enjoy.

The best part about this is that White Castle is very close to Disney World! The fast-food joint is a neighbor to the mouse, which means Guests on their Disney World vacation can hit up Magic Kingdom during the stay, and fill that late-night tummy rumble with some delicious sliders. When White Castle opens on May 3, the location will only be open until 1:00 am, however, after the restaurant is up and running, the location will become a 24-hour operation, so even after a late-night Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event, you will be able to get a tasty treat!

And if you are really hungry, you are definitely in luck with this new Orlando-based White Castle, because the location is offering a very select combo, that only one other White Castle serves… and it is going to cost you $6,199.00. For $6,199.00 customers of White Castle can get ready to scarf down 6,920 sliders… which could probably feed a family of 20 for a month if they were vacationing in Disney World, and there would still probably be a few thousand leftover!
That being said, a Disney World vacation is already really pricey, especially when you are staying on property. So, perhaps that combo would not work for all Disney lovers visiting Cinderella Castle and White Castle. There are, however, many other combos that are affordably priced which will serve you and your family at a much lower cost than any Disney quick-service option, so, taking a short ride to White Castle could save you more money on food, which you will be able to spend on other fun things in the parks!
The new White Castle will be the largest one for the chain. The restaurant is expected to create over 100 jobs in the Central Florida area.
Known for its tiny square-shaped hamburgers, the menu also includes a variety of sliders like sloppy joe sliders and chicken and waffle sliders. If you need a side to go with your main entree, you can choose from a variety of options like mac ‘n cheese nibblers, chicken rings, corn dog nibblers, and of course, french fries.

If you are having a Disney World wedding, on the other hand, that combo could be a really fun late-night snack to share with your Guests. They may not finish the burgers, but a White Castle burger wall could be a unique photo spot. You could even place sliders on your head like classic Mickey ears!
Would you spend $6,199.00 on almost 7,000 sliders from White Castle?
