Demand for Universal Orlando Resort is so high that some of the hotels are completely booked for May and even into June.
See which hotels are full, and what it means for your vacation.

Cabana Bay
Cabana Bay Beach Resort is one of the Inside the Magic team’s favorite Universal accommodations. Unfortunately, we noticed while trying to book a room that May and June are completely booked at Cabana Bay!
While you may be able to find the odd one or two nights on a third-party travel website, the Universal website does not have any availability on a weekend and nearly every weekday for Cabana Bay. We reached out to Universal who confirmed that things are booked solid for the next two months, but you may be able to snag a room from a cancellation.
It is important to note, however, that this is not a guarantee.
Other hotels at Universal also have little to no availability in May and June! Check the Universal website for the most up-to-date available rooms.

What about the other hotels and resorts?
It is worth noting that Universal does not have every hotel or resort open at this time. Universal’s Aventura Hotel and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort remain closed. Sapphire Falls will be reopening on May 18, which should help Universal Guests find on-property accommodations.

Why should you stay at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel?
Currently, Universal Orlando Resort theme parks — Universal Studios Florida, and Universal’s Islands of Adventure — are operating at limited capacity. Oftentimes, on busy weekends and on the occasional weekday, the theme parks at Universal Orlando will reach capacity. If you are staying at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel you will still be able to enter the theme parks even if the parks hit capacity.
All you need to do is have a valid room key for each adult in your party and you will have access to the theme parks despite the parks reaching capacity. What a great perk of staying at a Universal resort or hotel!

Why should you be heading to Universal in 2021? Universal has a brand new roller coaster, the VelociCoaster, set to debut on June 10! You will not want to miss this exciting new attraction.
Universal Orlando Resort has also reopened its water park, Volcano Bay! Universal’s Volcano Bay is the perfect way to cool off in the hot Central Florida summer.
