Credit: DisneyPreviously, we reported that Disney was doing some maintenance on the exterior of The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure.
Now, the scaffolding has come down to reveal a beautifully repainted attraction facade that is ready to greet Guests when the Parks reopen on April 30.

While we cannot tell if any maintenance has been done to the interior of the attraction, thanks to photos on Instagram by Disney fan Wonders of Magic (@wonders_of_magic) we can see the fresh coat of paint on the exterior.

No official interior updates have been announced, It just appears to be maintenance and fresh paint on the exterior. We will have to see if any noticeable changes have been made at the end of next month when guests can once again board the ride April
We love the fresh look, it is really eye-catching with refreshed vibrant colors.

Sail past Ariel’s gadget-filled grotto. Watch Sebastian the crab conduct a hot crustacean band. Sneak past a sinister eel-infested lair. Sing along to classics made famous in the movie, like “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls” and “Kiss the Girl.”
It’s a musical shell-abration for all ages!
This is not the only attraction that Disney has taken the time to refresh during the lengthy closure of the Disneyland Resort. We have also seen a complete reimagining of the Snow White-themed attraction in Fantasyland over at Disneyland Park. Now called Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, we cannot wait to ride and see all of the improvements!
