Tickets to Disneyland went on sale starting today, and while many people are focusing on whether they will be able to go on opening day, there is another major date that Guests can book starting today. That is June 4, the opening day of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.
Disneyland Resort park tickets can be made up to 60 days in advance, which would put the latest date available for booking at June 11. That means that Guests can actually book not only the opening day of Avengers Campus, but the opening week.
All Guests (ages 3 and older) must have a valid ticket and a theme park reservation to the same park on the same date. Theme park reservations can be made up to 60 days or more in advance, subject to availability. To accommodate as many types of ticket holders as possible, reservations for select dates may be made available on a rolling basis. Check for updated availability.
The current Disneyland ticketing system is a multi-tiered system with multi-day tickets available, as well as tickets with a Park Hopper option.

Tier 5 tickets are tickets that will allow you to visit on the busiest park days. This means that if you purchase the Tier 5 tickets, you will be able to pick any park day you want, there will be no blackout dates. A Tier 1 ticket will give you the fewest amount of days to choose from, with more blackout days.
Guests who wish to visit Disneyland in the first two weeks of its reopening will be required to buy a Tier 5 ticket. However, it should be noted that park day reservations are subject to availability and there is no guarantee that Guests will get the reservation they want.
The Avengers Campus opening date of June 4 is also considered a top visiting day, so Guests will need to purchase a Tier 5 ticket in order to get into the Park. Alternatively, Guests can also purchase a multi-day ticket if they wish to book June 4. Multi-day tickets do not have black-out days.
Whether Guests choose to purchase a Tier 5 ticket or a multi-day ticket, they must be aware that reservations are required to enter California Adventure park the morning of June 4.
Beginning today, Guests who had valid park tickets before the COVID-19 shutdown are able to go on to the Disneyland website and pick a day that they would like to visit. Guests who did not have a Disneyland ticket before the shutdown will be able to go on to the Disneyland website, purchase tickets, and make reservations beginning on April 15.
Guests who want to purchase tickets will be put into a virtual waiting room beginning at 8 a.m. Pacific time while they wait their turn to purchase. After purchasing tickets, Guests will then need to pick which day they would like to visit which park and make a reservation. Reservations are subject to availability and dependent upon which tier ticket was purchased.
As of publication, all park days are still open for reservations.
