With the ongoing pandemic, Walt Disney World Resort has had to make a few adjustments in their plans and operations to reopen safely, while still not financially draining their pockets.
Considering Disney World is running at 35%, and opened to much lower than that, many shops and restaurant locations did not reopen with the resort. Although Disney never explained why this occurred, it makes sense that certain vendors which do not create heavy foot traffic would not open right away, especially considering Disney World opened with a limited amount of Cast Members who could not staff all of their locations.
Upon reopening, a lot of the BoardWalk Inn remained closed, leaving Guests with a lot less to do on their stay. That being said, since then things have slowly started to reopen. You can now add another popular cart to our list of places to grab a drink from at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn!
Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas is a cart that Guests can visit on the boardwalk to grab the perfect margarita on a hot Orlando day, and with the heat rolling in, now is the perfect time to bring the drinks back. Disney describes the drink location as:
Walk on the wild side with a frozen concoction, including margaritas, piña coladas and the Captain’s Seaside Sensation—a pineapple smoothie with a shot of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum! Mickey pretzels and roasted nuts are also available.
