Do you ever wonder how Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World changes the look of a theme park overnight? For example, Guests go from celebrating Halloween to Christmas the very next day at Magic Kingdom, and in order to do so, Disney Imagineers work extremely hard and as quickly as possible to bring magic to the parks.
Now, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley is sharing a video of how his team is bringing together Cinderella Castle’s new look for the 50th celebration.
Decorating Cinderella Castle
In a new Instagram video, Zach Riddley shows just how intricate decorating Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World can be.
The once blue and silver castle was recently repainted into beautiful shades of pinks and bright sky blues. Additionally, Disney Imagineers have added gems, banners, embellishments, and turrets, which are digitally made to fit the peaks of this gorgeous castle in Magic Kingdom.
Riddley shared some details on the current work being done, stating:
More ribbons have been installed on Cinderella Castle this week and I just had to share a video captured during one of the installs. These fit just like a glass slipper…. And that’s no fairy tale – our team digitally modeled each turret on Cinderella Castle to achieve this perfect fit. #DisneyWorld50
