Back in November 2018, former Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, announced a live-action Star Wars series following Cassian Andor. The fan-favorite rebel spy who Diego Luna made famous in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), alongside Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Alan Tudyk’s K-2SO and Riz Ahmed’s Bodhi Rook, will come to our screens sometime in 2022.

The limited Disney+ series will showcase Andor’s adventures “during the formative years of the rebellion”. Andor takes place five years prior to the events of Rogue One, so it’s safe to say that we will see more of Andor’s intergalactic spy escapades as he navigates a tumultuous universe at war, and maybe meets some old friends along the way.

Well, now a fan tweet suggests that Andor will feature yet more spying within Imperial walls. In a thread, one Twitter user, who goes by Force Ghost David, shared the behind-the-scenes image:

Probably the Cassian Andor show. She sent me loads of pics. Look down the end. Krennic uniform

The show is currently being filmed in London at Canary Wharf station — the same place used for filming the Imperial installation that housed the Death Star plans in Rogue One. However, it is not confirmed that this is the same location, although it definitely hints at a heavy Imperial presence in Andor.

It will be interesting to see how much Imperial action the show will give Star Wars fans, but if this set photo is anything to go by, it seems like Andor will live up to its “rousing spy thriller” synopsis.

Andor will also feature Genevieve O’Reilly, who is reprising her role as Mon Mothma – the Empire-defying Senator who aided the creation of the Rebel Alliance. Luna and O’Reilly will be joined by Stellan Skarsgård (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End), Denise Gough (Angels in America), and Kyle Soller (Anna Karenina), though we currently do not know which roles they will take on. The series will be written and directed by Tony Gilroy who co-wrote Rogue One. Gilroy will also serve as showrunner for the Disney+ series.

The following official synopsis was previously released and reads as follows:

Andor is just one part of Star Wars’ upcoming television and film releases, and will hopefully play a key role in expanding the universe. Other shows that will join Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian in the television show lineup include Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic — which will sit in the timeline of The Mandalorian — Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch animated series and Lando.
