Morrison is a Star Wars veteran, as he first starred in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones as bounty hunter Jango Fett. He also played every clone in both Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, including Captain Rex and Commander Cody, and also voiced Boba Fett in the re-released versions of Star Wars: Episode V – Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.

The New Zealand actor is a Star Wars fan favorite, and he’s not leaving the Star Wars universe anytime soon. Here are the three upcoming shows he is expected to appear in:

During the season finale of The Mandalorian season two, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand take over Jabba the Hutt’s castle. The sequence then cuts to black and confirms the release of a Mandalorian-spinoff series: The Book of Boba Fett. December 2021 is the confirmed release date of the series coming to Disney+, and it could come out on Christmas Day.

While there are no details about what the Star Wars show may look like, Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand is confirmed to star alongside Morrison’s Boba Fett.

According to unconfirmed reports, Temuera Morisson is set to reprise his role of the cloned Commander Cody (though it’s an unconfirmed role) in the upcoming OBI-WAN KENOBI series coming to Disney+ in 2022.

Joining Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader), the series will begin filming in March this year in England.

After Temuera Morrison wraps up filming for The Book of Boba Fett, Comicbook.com and LRM Online both report that he will join the OBI-WAN KENOBI series in an unconfirmed role.

The Mandalorian‘s showrunner Jon Favreau and executive producer Dave Filoni (who’s also attached to The Bad Batch) are leading the series’s production, with The Mandalorian executive producer Robert Rodriguez also producing the upcoming series.

Neither Disney nor Lucasfilm have confirmed a release no a role for Temuera Morrison, but fans speculate the series could premiere as early as 2022.

The Mandalorian Season 3 (Unconfirmed Release)

While many Star Wars fans began to wonder if The Book of Boba Fett would be the third season of The Mandalorian, showrunner Jon Favreau confirmed that there would be a third season to the successful Mandalorian series, and it will be separate from The Book of Boba Fett.

However, there is no release date confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm for The Mandalorian Season 3. Comicbook.com reported a delayed production start for The Mandalorian Season 3 due to scheduling and COVID-19 protocols.

It is believed that once Morrison finishes filming for OBI-WAN KENOBI: The Original Series, he will be flying back to the U.S. and join the production of the upcoming Mandalorian season for an unconfirmed amount of episodes.
