Calling all Star Wars fans! Disney Parks Blog has just confirmed some amazing news we have been waiting for. The WonderGround Gallery is returning to Downtown Disney, and the Star Wars Trading Post is getting a new location!
Recently, we shared some Disneyland fan speculation that the Star Wars Trading Post may possibly take over the former location of the Rainforest Cafe at the Downtown Disney District. While Disney did not explicitly state that the merchandise location will take over the former Rainforest Cafe, the announcement did say that the shop “will soon be moving to an exciting new spot at the west end of the Downtown Disney District” and “Walt Disney Imagineers have created a design inspired by a hidden jungle Resistance base.” That definitely sounds like a confirmation to us!
Additionally, Rey’s speeder will also be on display. How awesome is that?
