Home Alone is one of my all-time favorite holiday films. The movie stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCalister, as he is unexpectedly left home alone after his family rushes out of the house to try and catch the plane for their upcoming vacation.
If you are like me and Home Alone is a must-watch every single holiday season, then you won’t want to miss your chance to win $5,000!

In honor of the film’s 30th anniversary, Freeform is hosting a Home Alone contest where fans of the film can win $5,000. All you have to do is submit a photo or a video entry of “a one-of-a-kind baked good, hand-crafted sculpture, your own personal dance moves or even a poetic reading. Think outside the box!”

When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O’Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home.
