We’ve been waiting for weeks now to be able to step foot again onto Buena Vista Street, and the time has finally come!
No better time than now with the holiday season in full swing, and I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say that we all need a little Disney holiday magic this year. The crowds are excited to finally be Guests again inside Disney California Adventure, even just as a part of Downtown Disney District.
Disney gave us a glimpse at what Disneyland Resort holiday offerings there would be between the Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street. Today we’ve got our Inside The Magic feet on the street, so we’re bringing you a first-hand look at the Happiest Place on Earth during this special treat on Buena Vista Street with all its holiday decorations.
And let us tell you, or rather show you, that the holiday magic that the Disney Parks bring during the most festive time of year is definitely alive and well at Disney California Adventure!
Every time we walk onto that 1920s-themed street entrance during the Yuletide season, we’re easily transported back in time like we’re celebrating with Walt Disney himself. Even though this year may seem very different than any other, Disney’s imagination and innovation in bringing us the magic has remained the same.
So let’s take a stroll down Buena Vista Street for some holiday shopping and treat eating! On the way to check out the new dining experience at Carthay Circle Lounge Alfresco Dining, we’ve stopped to soak up the atmosphere we’ve been missing for the past eight months.
At the time of publication, the waitlist for Carthay Circle filled up a while ago! Inside the Magic was told that Disney would be going to reevaluate later in the day based on crowds.
What a great place to stand and see all those smiling faces, or smiling eyes partnered with the actual smile under the mask, enjoying a small piece of the marvelous place that our Disney loving hearts call home.
Before you hit the stores for the holiday merchandise, don’t forget to stop and grab an iconic Disneyland Churro! This isn’t the Churro Cart itself, but look at the food carts that got Disney Holiday pixie dusted!
We can’t forget to highlight the incredible lighthearted individuals that make all of this possible. The holiday magic, or any magic in general, isn’t possible without the Cast Members.
While they’re busy at work making Disneyland the most cheerful spot in Southern California, they’re also making sure that all the health and safety measures are being adhered to so we can enjoy that merry magic with all of the new protocol in place. So please thank each and every Cast Member you see, if you do visit Disneyland Resort!
