The excitement is starting to build as we are just days away from DCA’s Buena Vista Street reopening!
This will be the first time in about eight months that Guests will be able to truly step inside a Disneyland Resort theme park. This could also very well be the first time that Guests will be dining at Carthay Circle without a reservation, as well.
This popular eatery has always been a bit tricky to attain a reservation for. It’s quite popular and their menu and drinks are very much worth it — if we do say so ourselves.
Fortunately, Disney just announced their mobile waitlist just ahead of Carthay Circle’s reopening. The official Disney statement is as follows:
At this time, reservations are not available at Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining. Instead, a mobile waitlist will be used throughout the day to manage the number of Guests dining when the location is at capacity.
A Guest may head to the restaurant to join the mobile waitlist, if activated. Guests will be able to provide their name and mobile number to receive a text message when they are able to return. Data and message rates and other restrictions may apply.
At times, when at capacity, the mobile waitlist will not be activated. Guests may try back at a later time.
Keep in mind, upon your arrival, all members of your party must be present before seating, and hosts must bring your entire party to the table at one time.
So it has been confirmed: Carthay Circle will not be taking advanced reservations and instead will only be accepting Guests via the waitlist. The mobile waitlist will likely be similar to the one recently made available at Walt Disney World Resort.
