On October 14, Inside the Magic reported the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom was on the refurbishment schedule through December 25, 2020. Now, we are seeing on My Disney Experience that the Tomorrowland attraction is listed through January 2, 2021.

Inside the Magic has been keeping you all up to date on the recent Tomorrowland PeopleMover closure and refurbishment scheduled. Now, it looks as though that refurbishment is being extended once again.
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority located inside Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom has been closed ever since before the temporary park closures, which took place back in March. Once the theme parks reopened mid-July, Guests were hoping to see the PeopleMover open back up with the rest of the attractions, however, this wasn’t the case.
Initially, we reported that our team went through the next few months to find out when Disney plans on reopening the Magic Kingdom ride, which wouldn’t be until November 1. However, within a few weeks the refurbishment was extended to November 22.
Now, we are noticing this refurbishment being extended another week. If you look at this first screenshot below, you will see that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom is on the refurbishment schedule through November 28.
It isn’t listed for November 29 though so this could possibly be a sign of when Disney plans on reopening the attraction. Keep in mind, Disney has not yet released an official date and this refurbishment schedule could possibly be extended once again. Inside the Magic will update you as we get new information.
