With the continuation of construction within the Disney World Parks, and with the reopening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom recently, there have been some new permits filed by Disney for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Permit near Restaurantosaurus
The first permit shows that there will be some General Construction at 502 RESTAURANTOSAURUS RD which is near Restaurantosaurus. We are not completely positive what this means, but within the permit, Disney states it will “provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction”. It also mentions that the construction will be for “AK Backstage Admin Bldgs ES”.
You can read the entire permit here.
Permit near Yak & Yeti Restaurant
The next permit shows that there will be some electrical work being done at 870 Werikhe Way, Bay Lake, FL which is where the Yak & Yeti Restaurant is located. Again, we are not quite positive what this work will entail, but Disney states in the permit that it’s for ‘General Construction with Maddox Electrical’.
You can read the permit here.
We may not know what these permits are for, but from what we can see, it seems that they might just be for some new management buildings and some general construction.
Construction Continues at Disney World
With the continuation of the overhaul work being done over in EPCOT with Project G, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and the Pylons, these permits fit in just well with the rest of the parks. Alongside the permit that was just filed for Disney’s Magic Kingdom related to fireworks, there seems to be a lot going on for Disney World in Florida.
We hope that these construction projects will be finished soon as we all would like to see the huge overhaul of EPCOT; as well as the Fireworks come back to Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
