Disney World Halloween

Even though Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled this year, Walt Disney World fans will still be taking in as much Halloween magic as they possibly can.

We at Inside the Magic have learned that the Magic Kingdom is completely booked on October 31. According to the Walt Disney World Resort website, all Park Passes for Annual Passholder, Disney Resort Guests, and Theme Park Ticket Guests are reserved for the day.

We reported earlier that Annual Passholders completely filled up the day — which has been a common occurence in the age of Disney Park Pass reservations — but, this is one of the few times where the Magic Kingdom has become completely booked before Guests’ current favorite theme park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

But, along with Christmas, New Year’s, and the Fourth of July, Halloween is one of the holidays traditionally celebrated at Magic Kingdom, and despite the cancelation of the after-hours celebration and the shortening of park hours, it looks like Guests are ready to keep the tradition alive and get as much spooky magic out of the day as they can.

Also potentially playing a factor is Disney’s decision to allow all Guests –even adults– to wear costumes inside the park, including Disney-themed costumes.

To bring some Halloween party fun into the park this year, for the first time guests of all ages can wear your funniest, Disney-ist, most creative costumes during Magic Kingdom Park regular operating hours from Sept. 15 to Oct. 31. As an important reminder, costume masks are not permitted for adults; only children younger than 14 years old are permitted to wear costume masks. – Disney Parks Blog

As for other upcoming holidays, Park Passes for all three buckets are still available for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Christmas Eve, as well as New Year’s Eve and New Years Day.
