If you’re like me, then you may find yourself constantly wishing you were at a Disney Park. Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Disney California Adventure — even a Disney resort would be great. There’s something about being away for so long, and knowing that the theme parks were closed for so long, that just makes me want to go even more.
Bringing Disney Magic Home
Now that the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando has re-opened, a lot of people are re-scheduling canceled Disney vacations and filling back up the parks. But while I miss the feeling of riding around on the monorail and seeing Mickey Mouse in person, I — along with many other people — can’t bring myself to go back to the parks just yet.
While it’s challenging to be away ( and let me tell you, the feeling of FOMO is real), there are some things I’ve been doing differently at home and in my daily life to add a bit of Disney Magic to my routine. Whether it’s making more foods that are shaped like Mickey Mouse, following along with the Disney music workout routines shared on YouTube, or binging Disney+ holiday decorating specials even earlier than usual — I’ve definitely been getting my daily dose of magic.
Sounds of the Disney Parks
But something that I have only just discovered, that has since brought endless joy into my days is the @disneysoundss Instagram account. This account labeled as a ‘radio station’ on social media, is a hub for every Disney park sound that you can think of. The account has sounds from both Disneyland and Walt Disney World throughout every part of the different parks. Some of my favorites are ambient sounds from Mickey’s Toontown, the world showcase and star tours.
Looking to feel the magic of the shows and parades? This Disney music account has a variety of sounds from various fireworks shows and parades — even the Boo to You parade from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parade.
