After Disney initially confirmed that parking lot trams would not be available for Guests during the Annual Passholder preview days, we are now receiving word that the trams will not be available even after the parks officially reopen to the public.

“For those arriving in their own vehicles, auto plazas will offer cashless payment; parking lot trams will not be available at this time,” Disney shared in a press released earlier today. You can read the entire press release here.

The report also comes from Scott Gustin on Twitter:

Typically, Guests who drive to any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks have the option of taking a tram after parking in order to save themselves from walking such a long distance upon arrival. However, it has now been confirmed that the parking lot trams will continue to be out of service for the time being. Guests who plan to drive their own vehicles to Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have to walk after parking their cars in the parking lot.

Further information regarding the trams (including when they will resume service) has not yet been released.
