The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival typically takes place during the fall months, but for 2020 Disney is debuting the popular event early, In fact — it officially debuted TODAY, July 15, making this the longest-running EPCOT Food and Wine Festival yet!

Usually during the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Guests can pick up a festival guidebook, which lays out all of the different food booths, food and drink offerings at each booth, and the fun activities going on during the festival months as well. Guests also used to be able to get their passport stamped at each booth by a Cast Member, or in more recent years, they could put their own stickers on the booths they have visited on the corresponding pages.

Below, you can see an example of the paperback festival guidebook from years past.

However, for this year’s festival, Disney is eliminating the paperback festival guidebooks and is moving the entire pamphlet to digital. The new digital festival guidebook will be available on the My Disney Experience app.

Disney has stated:

New this year, a digital Festival Guidebook available on the My Disney Experience mobile app! Check out the listing of the more than 20 festival-exclusive marketplaces and discover all the family fun activities like the return of Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt; entertainment including the merry Mariachi Cobre and the rhythmic JAMMitors crew; plus, a peek at the limited-edition 25th anniversary merchandise for purchase. More on the 2020 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

Along with the several different festival food booths, the 2020 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival also brings fun activities such as Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt (which usually takes place with the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival in the Spring).

Unfortunately, however, the popular Eat to the Beat Concert Series, which takes place every year during the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT, will not be offered this year. Guests can still enjoy music from acts including Mariachi Cobre or the JAMMitors.
