Shanghai Disneyland has just updated their park rules on their website to now allow guests to use General Admission tickets, which before, was not allowed.
Prior to this announcement, Shanghai Disneyland guests had to buy a dated ticket in order to gain access into the theme park. But before the global pandemic hit and before the theme parks closed their gates temporarily, some of the guests had General Admission tickets, which, up until today, June 1, couldn’t be used.

The official statement from Shanghai Disneyland’s website reads:
Shanghai Disneyland Advanced Reservation
Please note that at this time Shanghai Disneyland is currently open for visitation on an “Advanced Reservation” only basis, with enhanced health and safety measures and controlled capacity.
Tickets are available via the resort’s official online channels and official travel partners’ channels, with a limited number of tickets available each day. Guests are required to purchase dated admission tickets prior to their arrival, and Annual Pass holders must make a reservation for their visit date and time through the resort’s official online channels before their visit to the park.

Shanghai Disneyland Resort officially reopened its gates to the public on May 11, 2020. The Disney park has set up several safety measures including temperature screening tents, social distancing markings, character meet and greets, and more. Shanghai Disneyland also recently resumed some live shows and stage performances, with the park’s standard social distancing protocols in place, at their theme park.
