Disney World Emails Annual Passholders Reassuring Message

in Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is gearing up for its phased reopening mid-July with its theme parks — Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopening on July 11 and EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15.

And now, Disney World is emailing their annual passholders a reassuring message about the upcoming phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort.

We know that Walt Disney World Resort values their annual passholders and can’t wait to welcome them back to the theme parks, however, they know this has been a difficult time so they wanted to share the following message.

The email reads:

Dear Valued Passholder,

Soon it’ll be time to return to the enchantment. To laugh. To wish. To dream. To once again sing along with a small world. Journey to a galaxy far, far away. Conquer Everest. And sail through a Frozen land.

But first, we wanted to offer our most sincere thanks. For your patience. For your trust. For always keeping the magic in your hearts. And for being some of our most cherished fans.

As we adjust to these unprecedented times, the Theme Park experience will understandably be different from what it was when you last visited. At least for the time being. But one very important thing will remain the same: the magic will still be there. And we could all use some of that!

Thanks again. For everything.

We’ll be sure to stay in touch. Sincerely, Your Walt Disney World Resort Family

More Information on Disney World Reopening

Upon reopening to the Walt Disney World Resort to the public, the company is implementing a new reservation system in order to manage capacity. Part of this reservation system includes Annual Passholder entry. At first, we weren’t sure how Disney would be managing guest capacity or their Annual Passholders, however, Disney has spoken out on the subject — Though Disney values their Annual Passholders, due to this unprecedented time, an annual pass will not guarantee park entry.

Walt Disney World Resort also recently shared an update on new ticket sales and hotel reservations, dining and experiences, and FastPass+ and Extra Magic Hours. You can read more about that here.

At this time, Disney Springs is opened to the public with select restaurants and retail stores welcoming guests.
