I remember my first day on the job at Disneyland, going up to Walt's apartment, and looking out the window to see the amazing Cast Members and wonderful guests. It was a powerful moment, and one that has stuck with me ever since. I feel extremely grateful to have had this experience and to have met so many incredible people along the way. As I embark on my next role as chairman of Disney's international business units and streaming services including Disney+, I want to thank all of you for making the Disneyland Resort truly the Happiest Place on Earth. I was a frequent guest of the parks before I worked here… and I have no doubt I'll be back often with my family. #seeyourealsoon #thankyou #farewell

Paired with a photo of her by the lamp in Walt Disney’s Disneyland apartment, Campbell wrote, “I remember my first day on the job at Disneyland, going up to Walt’s apartment, and looking out the window to see the amazing Cast Members and wonderful guests. It was a powerful moment, and one that has stuck with me ever since.”

She continued her heartfelt post, “I feel extremely grateful to have had this experience and to have met so many incredible people along the way. As I embark on my next role as chairman of Disney’s international business units and streaming services including Disney+, I want to thank all of you for making the Disneyland Resort truly the Happiest Place on Earth. Campbell is the second female Disney Parks President. She took over at Disneyland Resort on September 25, 2019, replacing Josh D’Amaro who moved to Orlando to assume the role of President at Walt Disney World Resort. Prior to becoming Disneyland President, Campbell, a Pennsylvania native, led Disney’s direct-to-consumer and international segment in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Amid the recent Disney theme park closures, the company has shaken-up their executive team. For example, D’Amaro, who recently attended the reopening of Disney Springs, is becoming Chairman of Disney Parks, Resorts, and Products, while Jeff Vahle is taking over as President of Walt Disney World Resot.

We look forward to the future of all of the world’s Disney Parks and can’t wait to see what Campbell does with Disney+ and other sectors as she leaves her Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure role behind.
