On March 12, 2020, Walt Disney World announced they would be temporarily closing the theme parks due to the current global pandemic. As the virus continued to spread worldwide, the Walt Disney World Parks had to make the difficult decision to close its theme parks indefinitely as safety and health concerns are the number one priority.
Even though we, unfortunately, cannot be inside the theme parks during this time, if you are missing the Disney magic, we can help bring a bit of Disney into your own home.
Let’s take a virtual trip to Pandora — The World of Avatar with these aerial images showing this section of the theme park completely empty.

Pandora’s floating mountains are absolutely stunning in person, but are even more unique and beautiful from up high in the sky, don’t you agree?
Based on the popular film, Avatar, the newest land located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Pandora – The World of Avatar) transports Disney guests into a whole new world.

Pandora — The World of Avatar is home to two Disney attractions, both Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey. The land is also home to the quick service restaurant, Satu’li Canteen, and the snack stand, Pongu Pongu.
