In recent years, Disney Parks have been experimenting with their food offerings, even making the switch to Impossible “meat” options for vegetarian dishes and serving up creative drinks like Fig and Lavender Cold Brew. Our latest Disney Parks food fascination has got to be the pepperoni pizza egg rolls.
Pepperoni pizza egg rolls at Disney California Adventure
As part of the current offerings for the Food and Wine Festival through April 21, California Adventure is serving pepperoni pizza egg rolls. Sold at the California Craft Brews booth across from what will soon be Avengers Campus and just a few steps away from the entrance to Cars Land, this snack costs $7.00 for two and is described as “Pepperoni Pizza Egg Rolls with Mozzarella Cheese, garnished with Parmesan, Parsley and Red Pepper Flakes, served with Marinara and Pesto Sauce.”
These weren’t exactly our favorite snack we had all day when we were sampling the food at DCA’s Food and Wine fest as part of Disneyland Resort’s media event on the first day of the festival. But we appreciate that they were served piping hot with a generous amount of condiments. And kids will totally love these — they reminded me of my childhood since I thought they tasted like Pizza Rolls or Bagel Bites.
If you’re a picky eater and want to try something that will taste familiar to you, go for it and pick up this snack. But if you’re in the mood for more flavor, I suggest the Tortilla-crusted Fried Guacamole with Carne Asada from Avocado Time or the Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese with Bacon from Garlic Kissed.
Disney World has been selling pizza spring rolls for a while!
Keep in mind that you can get interesting spring rolls year-round at Disney’s Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The theme park is known for its cheeseburger spring rolls, pizza spring rolls, and other creative flavors. While I personally haven’t tried any of the spring rolls at Magic Kingdom, I’m even more curious about them now that I’ve tried the pizza egg rolls at Disney California Adventure and the various lumpia flavors at Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland.
