Disney Lady and the Tramp Falling in Love

Did you know: The American Film Institute recognizes Lady and the Tramp as one of the Top 100 Most Passionate Films of All Time?

This Disney Classic is steeped in Disney History. The scene in which Jim Dear gives Darling Lady in a hatbox comes directly from Walt Disney’s own life and his gift to his wife Lillian. It’s little wonder that Disney chooses to remake this classic as a showcase movie to launch Disney+.

Thomas Kinkade loved Disney, therefore, you can expect a deep understanding of this Disney Classic will come through in the artwork.

The Painting: Lady and the Tramp sit gazing into each other’s eyes and falling-in-love they are seemingly unaware of the world around them. Set foot into this iconic scene, where you can almost smell the scent of spaghetti and meatballs wafting up to them on the night’s gentle breeze. Gaze upon Darling and Jim Dear walking hand-in-hand as they reminisce of when they fell in love.

Zoom in on that tree branch in the upper right-hand corner and you will spot Aunt Sarah’s twin Siamese cats. Did you notice coming up the path Tony’s Special? Even the smell of spaghetti and meatballs isn’t enough to separate those two lovebirds (or should I say “lovedogs”).

Falling In Love

The concept of falling in love is hardly new to the Disney movies that inspire Thomas Kinkade Studio’s Disney Art. Find the right piece for that special someone in your life either with Disney Lady in the Tramp or one of these other loving Disney duos:

Maximize your odds of Winning!

The first and most important step is to give us a valid email address when you enter. Be sure it’s an email you actually check as occasionally we have been forced to pick new winners simply because we didn’t have an email address from a monitored account.

Ok, so you got the basics – use a good email address and check it to make sure you’re aware if we pick you. We are also going to give everyone additional chances to win which can improve your odds a lot or a little. The first category of bonus entries is sharing with your friends and family which you can do by providing them with your Lucky URL (everyone who enters with your specific link generates 25 bonus entries) or spread the word by sharing our Facebook and Twitters posts.

Next, for those of you following our sweepstakes and giveaways over the past few years, you know Thomas Kinkade Studios has blessed us with the opportunity to give away numerous paintings. Because we have so many of these past giveaways to look back on we are giving bonus entries for taking another look at each of these posts.
