Marvel’s “Black Panther” Finally Gets Disney+ Release Date

Wakanda Forever!

Get ready Marvel fans — the Marvel Cinematic Universe box office hit, Black Pantherhas finally gotten a Disney+ release date (and it may be sooner than you think!)

Disney+ originally launched in November 2019 and subscribers were instantly wondering where some of their favorite films were. The live-action The Lion Kingthe live-action Aladdin, and Marvel’s box office sensation, Black Pantherwere all missing from the content library.

Luckily, both live-action films are now available to stream on Disney+, but fans will be excited to learn that the Marvel Cinematic Universe film will also be soon available.

Celebrating the anniversary of Marvel’s Black Panther, Disney+ announced on Twitter that the hit film will be coming to the streaming service on March 4!

Starring Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o, as Nakia, and Danai Gurira as Okoye, the star-studded line up was just a small part of what makes this film so fantastic. In fact, Marvel’s Black Panther became the highest-grossing superhero movie in the United States!

More MCU Content To Stream Now

Other Upcoming Marvel Content Coming To Disney+

Black Panther isn’t the only MCU content coming to the streaming service in the near future. Marvel fans can also look forward to the release of the highly anticipated Disney+ Original Marvel Series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will be released in August of 2020.

The Disney CEO Bob Iger also recently revealed that the MCU series, WandaVision, will be released in December 2020 and Marvel and Disney are currently aiming for a September 2020 production date for the MCU series, Hawkeye.
