Attention all Disneyland fans, locals, and soon-to-be guests! You won’t want to miss this. Disney just announced that FastPass will soon be added to two family-favorite attractions at the Disneyland Resort. Here’s what we know so far!
Two kid-favorite attractions at Disneyland Resort will be added to the Disney FastPass system: Autopia in Tomorrowland in Disneyland park and Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue! in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure park. This means that both of these attractions will also be added to Disney’s MaxPass system, an additional cost of $15 per person, per day, which allows guests to book FastPasses directly to their phones. As always, regular FastPass at Disneyland Resort remains free to all guests.
There’s no word yet on an official date when these two attractions will be added to the FastPass system, but we will report on Inside the Magic as soon as we know more information. As fans of FastPass, we’re definitely excited that two kid-favorite attractions are going to get this Disney Parks benefit. Many of the attractions currently with the FastPass option (including rides like Space Mountain, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout!, and Indiana Jones Adventure) have more height restrictions than these two, so we’re happy that the younger Disney fans can experience shorter lines soon!
New to Disneyland and unfamiliar with these two attractions? Here’s a brief description of each, courtesy of the Disneyland Resort official website:
Fire Up the Hot Rod
Cruise the scenic winding roads of this classic attraction in a souped-up coupe.
Pick up the pace as you rumble under a small bridge and see iconic attractions like the Matterhorn in the distance. Spot Honda’s Humanoid Robot and Bird along the road.
Featuring a working gas pedal and steering wheel, each classy chassis seats 2 adults or 3 children and navigates curves and inclines just like the real thing.
Escape from Monstropolis!
Venture inside the Monstropolis Transit Terminal and hail a taxi cab for a tour of the town. As your journey begins, an emergency “special report” is unexpectedly broadcast inside your cab—a human child is loose in Monstropolis and must be caught!
Help friendly monsters Mike and Sulley as they race to return little girl Boo safely to her home.
Can she find the way back before it’s too late?
